Woman to be stoned, lover to hang for adultery & murder

 A woman has been sentenced to death by stoning and
her cousin who was her lover to hang for adultery and murdering her
husband in Tehran, the government daily Iran reported Sunday.
Both were also ordered to undergo 100 lashes each before their execution
under Iran's harsh Islamic law, the paper said without identifying them.

If the woman manages to escape while being stoned -- after being put in a
pit up to her armpits -- she will have to serve 15 years' jail, the report
added.
