Much has been said about the September 11^th tragic event, yet people are still pouring their hearts out. While everyone feels a sense of profound sadness and sympathy for the innocent victims, most are trying to find out the root of a horrendous action such as this, committed by humans against humans--at the expense of their own lives.  Many are wondering what is happening to the human soul, and where we are heading if the trend of violence, as such, continues to cut lives short with such brutality. 

This was an act of terror that wonât be erased for a long time from the mind of those who directly, or indirectly, witnessed its brutality. This is not going to be forgotten easily.  And no doubt, this devastating shock is going to be a turning point in the history of the world. It will have a tremendous impact on everyoneâs consciousness, particularly those in the free world. 

The Universe continually works towards balance.  It is a crucial time for all sides to realize that either they need to learn to co-exist in peace, with one another, or let the cycle of death and decay to continue. They need to find ways to help this balance, and live in harmony with the Universe, or the balance will continue to occur at great expense.

People everywhere are indeed tired of injustices, tyrannies, exploitations, violence and more hatred.  The outpouring of love and support of the people around the globe and their lack of enthusiasm for revenge in most cases, proves that disasters can indeed breed miracles.  This tragedy, with its unbelievable magnitude and its tremendous effect may have been an eye opener, especially in the western world.  There has never been a time like this to connect with God, and to ponder anew for solutions to reconnect with the human soul, and salvage the spirituality of mankind.

Tired and puzzled from the agonies of the ãBrave New World,ä in the last two decades, people are increasingly seeking for a refuge to shield them from the burdens of a meaningless and horrid life; one that never seems to lead to peace and peace of mind.  In many places, people are finding refuge in orthodox religions, while others are turning towards sources that they think might give them the peace of mind that they have lost in the haze of what is called the age of technology.  This has been going on for a while, even before the recent disaster.

There are many today who are turning to New Age spiritual teachings for healing techniques and for information on the present spiritual state of the world. Many who were previously disappointed with the judgmental and restricted vision of some religious leaders, find themselves tuned to the non-secular teachings of the New Age. From yoga to channeled teachings, people in the US, Europe, and Asia are coming together to empower themselves, achieve their goals and heal the planet by healing themselves. Teachings from the likes of renowned healers and authors Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson, to the channeled teachings of Kryon and Orin & DaBen, are giving people the tools, techniques and information they need in these transformative times. What some of these teachings state over and again is that we are in the most transformative times in human history.

Many of us are already familiar with these new trends of healing.  Yoga and meditation are widely practiced in their birthplace in the Far East and growing in popularity in the west.  At a higher level of finding solutions, many spiritual leaders are telling us (true or untrue) that the new millennium is going to be the age of peace and hope. People are resonating to these teachings, which encourage meditation, yoga, lightwork and prayer to keep them centered, calm, loving, and thereby be a source of light to those around them and to the planet.

For example, in the Kryon teachings, we learn of subjects such as the Indigo children. We learn of a phenomenon about attributes that are new to the children of today. Basically, what this means is what daycare workers, parents and teachers have discovered÷strikingly different behavior patterns in children. Statistically, only a few Indigos were born in the 1970âs (very few before then), about 80% in the 1980âs, 90% in the Î90âs and most children born in the past 5 years. The Kryon teachings, and other teachings like those of channel Sanaya Roman, also speak of the energies present in the New Millennium.

Many spiritual teachers, such as these, teach the importance of finding oneâs own spiritual path÷whatever that may be÷that keeps one centered in Love. They state that we are going through the most transforming times in human history and that many of us chose to be here on earth at this time, to help the planet evolve. What does this mean? Well, each person who is here chose to be here on the soul level, and by finding their own sanctuary and connection to their Higher ãGodä Self, each adds to the planetary choice of Love and Peace. Whatâs the most important thing these New Age and even religious teachings at their core try to tell us? They seem to tell us that we have the potential to move closer to Nature and God and to have a planet with a higher vibration of peace, love and humanity. It depends on what reality we wish to see. Those who choose to live and see peace will see it; those who choose to stay in darkness and hatred wonât be able to hold the light of the new Earth.

There is no judgment for how you get there÷thatâs personal to you, and you donât have to follow any one specific teaching÷there are many roads to enlightenment. All spiritual teachings seem to tell us is that, in the end, Love really does and will ãconquer allä. 

The popularity of these spiritual teachings is telling us something special is happening.  The human is tired of old, rigid attitudes and trends, and is seeking something else to replace it with.  On a social level, my two cents would be, it is time to revise the politics of the world.  Forceful actions, military might, is not going to work in this new age and time.  The only way to have a more peaceful world would be for the free world, to realize, that only by helping other nations to live freely and to be the master of their own destinies, they can enjoy a healthy peaceful relation with the rest of the world.  Democracy for the third world, can indeed do miracle for the rest of the world.  Bombard them with understanding, helping hands, knowledge, love and respect, you will undoubtedly receive ten folds.
