Royal News!

A French judge has decided to investigate whether four photographers invaded Princess Diana 's privacy by photographing her at the scene of the 1997 accident which took her life. The other five photographers who pursued Diana's car that night may also be placed under investigation.

***********
Two French scientists, forensic pathologist Paul Fornes and toxicologist Pascal Kintz, said today that they believe Napoleon I was murdered. The scientists analyzed the French emperor's hair and found what Kintz called "major exposure" to arsenic. Their research was commissioned by Ben Weider, author of Assassination at St. Helena Revisited . Weider has long believed that Napoleon was poisoned by British and French officials who feared the emperor would escape from captivity a second time. Napoleon died in 1821, supposedly of stomach cancer. The poisoning theory is not new. It has been suggested that the arsenic in his system actually came from vapor emitted
by moldy wallpaper.

Shopping Savvy

Don't buy it unless you have something to wear it with.

Make sure you can wear it all year.  The seasonable fabrics are usually better quality.

Write it down.  Shop with a list to avoid impulse purchases

Buy in quantity.  If you find something that really fits and flatters, you'll never regret it.

Stay away from last-minute shopping.  You'll never find exactly what you want.

Shop for a designer.  There are designers who dedicate themselves to a certain type of woman.

Buy for function as well as style.

Choose solid over print patterns.  You'll get more wearing per use.

Buy only what you love.  Any second thoughts on an item? Then pass it by.

Natural Hair Coloring

Dark-haired beauties can create a temporary color with tea, walnuts, and coffee.  Brew a strong tea and use as a final rinse.  Boil one cup of chopped walnuts with one cup water.  Strain the liquid and pour over head.  Leave on thirty minutes before shampooing.  Brew an espresso or other strong coffee.  Add to dry hair.  Leave on thirty minutes before shampooing out.  This will add sparkling highlights to black or dark brown hair.
