Hello, my name is Mehran Kamkar. On behalf of the Norouz Spring Festival Committee and BAIVOTER I cordially invite you and your family to spent 2 fun filled days and help us celebrate the Norouz and Sizdeh Bedar at Vasona Park in Los Gatos, CA on Saturday March 31st and Sunday April 1st, 07 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

We have invited an incredible array of entertainers to give you an unforgettable experience and memory of Sizdeh Bedar this year. In addition you will enjoy beautiful cultural dances by Shahrzad Dance Academy , Niosha Dance Academy and Beshkan Dance Academy , Dehkhoda Farsi School , delicious Persian Food, Pastries, Ice Cream and drinks. You can visit friends or participate in our backgammon tournament (bring your sets). Come to enjoy the liveliness of the Park, the Lake and the trails. Come join the thousands of happy people who will be dancing, singing, playing soccer, playing volleyball or boating. Win one of more than 10 raffle prizes worth at least $50 each. Top price is a Lufthansa round trip ticket from San Francisco to Tehran valued at least $700! Raffle ticket can be purchased for $5 each or 3 for $10. You also will receive a Raffle ticket if you pay to park your car in the Premium parking near the stage.

Then visit and patronize the wonderful Sponsors and the Booth vendors who made this admission free event possible. Just to reiterate, there is no admission fees to this event. For Parking you have three choices:

You may choose to park your cars outside of Vasona Park and walk in or take our free bus (Chartered shuttle) that is going up and down University Ave. to bring you inside for free. Please respect the Los Gatos Parking ordinances. Parking lots and structures are available along University Ave.
You may choose to enter the Vasona Park from the main gate on Blossom Hill Road , pay only $5 for Parking, if available, and park inside of the Vasona Park . Then walk to the festival area near the Boat house. Festival Committee receives no part of the $5 parking fee. The county takes the $5.
Finally, you can enter from the side gate at University Ave. , pay $20 and park in the premium lot, immediately next to the festival grounds. This parking is very limited and may fill quickly. This option will benefit the Festival Committee, as County takes $5 and Festival receives the rest to pay for costs.

Finally, if you market to or serve the Iranian Community and wish to have a booth or other form of presence at the Festival, this is the biggest and longest Iranian event in the Northern California . Please call (408) 999-0211 or visit www.norouzfestival.org if you have any questions or comments. The booth pricing, sponsorship levels and other advertising rates are established to make this event self supporting. If there is any excess funds or revenue remaining after the event, it can only be used towards purchasing land and building an Iranian Community Center in the South Bay . Most Norouz Spring Festival Committee members are volunteers and are not paid for their time in organizing the Festival.
